Hello, everyone!

First of all, I apologize for not delivering the March issue. As I explained in a Ko‑fi update, my mental health has been in decline lately. I won't go into details — I prefer not to talk about my personal life online for safety reasons — but basically, I've been dealing with a lot of anxiety due to life circumstances. Which is part of the reason why I've been barely active online, and why I wasn't able to write the March update. So again, sorry about that.

Now, regarding my projects, I am pleased to announce that I am almost a third through Act III of the second Amniland book. I wanted to finish this draft before the end of the month, but sadly, because of the aforementioned reason, I couldn't write as much as I wanted to. It's still good progress nonetheless.

With that said, here's the current progress:

Book 1: Draft 5 - 4/35 chapters (hiatus)
​Book 2: Draft 2 - 22/31 chapters
​Book 3: Draft 1 - 32/32 chapters (hiatus)

Perhaps some of you are wondering what happened to my other projects, such as Mihayu and the Amniland short story I previously mentioned. Well, they are also on hiatus until the second draft of Book 2 is complete.

On a side note, I have created a SnipFic account! I've been meaning to do that ever since the iOS version came out, but it wasn't available in my country yet, and by the time it became available, I had already switched to Android — the version of which was in development. So yeah, took a while, but I'm now on SnipFic for anyone interested (same handle, "HeartClock08", since links don't work). My goal on the app is to experiment with different genres and styles while honing my writing skills. Microfiction is perfect for that: it helps you learn how to convey a lot of emotion and information with a mere hundred words. And since SnipFic is also a social app, you can build a community there by writing frequently and engaging with others.

Now obviously, since I'm already struggling to work on my projects, I haven't been able to use it that much. I managed to write for the daily prompts 4 days in a row, which is sort of a miracle. It actually helped me with my writer's block, so that's great! Seriously, I didn't think microfiction would be that much fun for me, but it is! It's fun and great for practicing writing. That's why I want to try and write on SnipFic every day whenever I can. It probably won't be feasible for me given my situation, but I'll try anyway.
